The Open Hardware Repository ohwr.org is a place on the web which was created in 2009 so electronics designers at experimental physics facilities could have a space to collaborate on Open Source Hardware (OSHW) designs, much in the philosophy of the free software movement.

In its latest incarnation, it is an easy-to-browse catalogue of OSHW designs, still limited in scope to controls and data acquisition for physics, with links to the designs themselves (now hosted elsewhere) and to forums where you can participate in discussions around those designs.

The Open Source Initiative (OSI) is a non-profit corporation with global scope formed to educate about and advocate for the benefits of open source and to build bridges among different constituencies in the open source community.

The OERu makes higher education accessible to everyone. Coordinated by the OER Foundation, an independent,  not-for-profit organisation, the OERu network of institutions offers free online courses for students worldwide. The OERu partners also provide affordable ways for learners to gain academic credit towards qualifications from recognised institutions.

WIPO Academy IP eLearning Courses
Since 1999, the WIPO Academy has been offering online and hybrid courses, covering all aspects of intellectual property (IP), to both professionals and those new to the field. We are the only institution offering online IP courses in more than ten languages.
Our offerings include hybrid, executive and certification courses. We also assist national IP offices and universities who wish to create localized IP training content by customizing our courses.
