BSC is at the service of the international scientific community and of industry that requires HPC resources. Our multidisciplinary research team and our computational facilities –including MareNostrum– make BSC an international centre of excellence in e-Science.

PATTERN general aim is to promote the practice of Open and Responsible Research and Innovation (Open RRI) by developing and piloting training activities for researchers at all stages of their careers.

The Zephyr® Project is an open source scalable real-time operating system (RTOS) supporting multiple hardware architectures including ARC, ARM, RISC-V and X86. The Zephyr OS is a proven RTOS used in products today. 

Our aim is to develop an open, scalable hardware and software research and development platform with the goal to break the energy efficiency barrier within a power envelope of a few milliwatts, as well as satisfy the computational demands of IoT applications requiring flexible processing of data streams generated by multiple sensors, such as accelerometers, low-resolution cameras, microphone arrays and vital signs monitors.

LUBIS EDA is a German semiconductor/EDA (Electronic Design Automation) company specializing in formal verification of chip designs. Its mission is to help prevent errors in silicon (“bug-free silicon design”) through automated formal verification methodologies.

Promotes open source, open data, open standards,and APIs. The objective of COSS is to strengthen the competitiveness of Finland’s software intensive industries, promote the growth and internationalization of open source businesses and reinforce the development of the Finnish information society with the support of open technologies and communities.
