What is NDC Security?
NDC Security 2026 is a four-day in-person security conference specifically for software developers, taking place from 2–5 March 2026 at the Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel in Oslo, Norway.
The event combines two days of deep-dive hands-on workshops with two full days of conference sessions featuring talks from over 60 industry experts and practitioners covering the latest trends, challenges, and best practices in software security, application protection, threat intelligence and related areas. Attendees also have opportunities to network with peers, engage with speakers, and participate in both formal presentations and informal social events such as the NDC Party
During this conference, the President of the European Open Source Academy, Daniel Stenberg, will be attending as a speaker on 4th and 5th of March.
NDC Security isn’t just a traditional cybersecurity conference, but focuses on practical, code-level security that directly impacts how software is built and maintained. For developers, this means going beyond theory into real-world techniques for writing safer code, securing applications, and understanding how attackers think.
For the European Open Source Academy community, the event aligns with key open source priorities, such as improving the security of open source software, sharing best practices across ecosystems, and fostering collaboration on tools and approaches that benefit the broader European software landscape. The mix of cutting-edge talks, expert presenters from around the world, and opportunities to connect with peers makes it a valuable forum for anyone committed to strengthening both developer skills and the open source projects they contribute to.
