The European Open Source Awards recognise exceptional contributions to Open Source Software, Open Source Hardware, and Open Technology across Europe. Now in its third edition, the Awards celebrate the individuals and organisations whose work has advanced innovation, collaboration, and digital sovereignty throughout the European open source ecosystem.
The 2027 ceremony will take place at the historic Théâtre du Vaudeville in Brussels, bringing together leading innovators, policymakers, and contributors from across the European open source community.

We are currently looking for the next cohort of the European Open Source Award nominees. Nominations are open to everyone : you can nominate colleagues, collaborators, users, researchers, or submit a self-nomination!
